If we are not allowed to open or you are not allowed to arrive (e.g. borders closed), cancellation is generally free of charge.

  • The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days before departure.
  • 13 days to 7 days before departure, 50% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • From 6 days before the agreed arrival date we charge 90 % of the total price.
  • In the event of no-show and early departure, 100% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Think about travel insurance: https://service.europaeische.at/

The insurance covers the following reasons (COVID-19) in the event of cancellation or trip interruption by the guest:

  • Illness of the guest with COVID-19
  • Illness of a close relative or a person living in the same household with COVID-19 and the presence of the guest is urgently required at home
  • Fever and suspected corona, even if the test result is later negative
  • A positive test result without symptoms
  • A close relative in the shared household has fallen ill and the guest must go into quarantine

There is no insurance cover:

  • if the guest is classified as a high-risk person and therefore does not wish to travel for fear of infection
  • due to an officially imposed precautionary quarantine upon return to the home country
  • Job loss due to layoffs triggered by the pandemic
  • Border closures, hotel closures imposed by the authorities, lockdown by the government (--> loss of the basis of the accommodation contract = no cancellation costs may be charged by the landlord)
