...lies on the backs of horses. At our equestrian hotel, you can experience it for yourself. For many years, we have lovingly run a Haflinger breeding program and enjoy spending our free time riding. Horse lovers will find themselves right at home here. On the grounds next to the stables, you can lunge your horses, take riding lessons, or explore the beautiful surroundings on a trail ride. Meanwhile, we invite our younger guests to enjoy themselves with our ponies or visit our petting zoo.

Our farm
Our livestock farming and breeding primarily benefit our own kitchen, as the meat, milk, butter, and cheese all come from our own farm. Of course, there is more to it than that; children, in particular, love seeing the newborn calves, lambs, and kids in the spring. We also make use of our fruit trees - which are a delight to behold - to distill our own fruit schnapps, a treat you are welcome to sample after a hearty meal.

Our Simmental cattle
This cattle breed originated in the Simmental Valley in West Switzerland. Over more than a hundred years breeding under various conditions has resulted in a world wide sought after multi-purpose breed. In 1895 the first Simmertal breeding club started in Tyrol. Today a healthy and species-appropriate animal husbandry is still valued.
